Steve Ness serves as President and chief executive officer of KOOL PAK° LLC. He has held this position since the purchase of the company in 1986. Steve also holds the position of president and chief executive officer of Ness Holding Co. Inc., which owns majority interest in KOOL PAK° LLC. Previously, Steve has served as sales manager, vice president of sales, director, board member, chief executive officer, and president and chief executive officer of Kool Pal LLC and Ness Holding Company. • Ness Holding Company has owned and operated businesses in the food industry since 1939, in manufacturing, importing, brokering, distributing, trucking, and warehousing. Steve is a graduate of the University of Oregon and Harvard Business School.
Since KOOL PAK° LLC started in July 2003, Wade Palmer has served as Chief Financial Officer. Wade’s responsibilities include accounting, administration, regulatory, legal, and information systems. • Previously, Wade was General Manager of Toyo Tanso USA, Inc., a graphite manufacturer. For 11 years, he served in various capacities including corporate controller and vice president of operations, US operations. Prior to Toyo Tanso, Wade worked for Ernst and Young. Wade received Bachelor of Science Degrees in Accounting and Corporate Finance from the University of Idaho.
Jamie Plowman is President and General Manager of Polar Express, an integral part of KOOL PAK°LLC. Jamie worked in the transportation industry for ten years before starting Polar Express Transportation Ltd. in 1999. Based in Langley BC, Polar Express serves the Seattle – Vancouver BC corridor. KOOL PAK° purchased Polar Express in January 2012 and provides temperature-controlled warehousing in Langley and transportation services throughout Canada and the US.
Pamela Dinsdale joined KOOL PAK° in1996 working in various capacities over the years. She served as the Vice President of Sales from 2004 until July 2019 when she assumed her new role as Vice President of Business Analytics. Pam brings over 30 years of experience in the food industry. She has extensive knowledge of food products and the supply chain including transportation, distribution, warehousing, operations, costing, and food safety temperature requirements. Pam came to Kool Pak with 10 years of previous experience in the food industry gained while working for Ness and Company/Northwest Food Brokers.
Russell joined KOOL PAK° in 2011 as a sales rep and was promoted to Business Development Manager in 2015. He was promoted to his current position early in 2018, when his focus expanded to include both sales and business development for accounts across the US and Canada. A second generation logistics industry professional, he started his career as a logistics broker in 2009. He earned his BBA from Georgia Southern University.
Andrea Cole joins the KOOL PAK° leadership team with an extensive background in Human Resources management and an appreciation that employees are every organization’s greatest asset.
A native Arkansan, Andrea has lived and worked in Oregon for over 25 years, expanding her expertise in employee relations, HR compliance, performance management, policy and handbook development, benefits administration and complete employee life-cycle needs.
