June 2015 – As a leading refrigerated LTL transportation provider, Kool Pak°® is always on the move. We are pleased to announce the expansion of our southern California facility in Ontario. We signed a five-year lease renewal and are expanding capacity and capabilities, doubling the size of our temperature-controlled warehouse at 1930 S. Rochester Avenue to accommodate extensive business growth throughout California. The Ontario facility is well situated for proximity to customers and transportation routes to efficiently serve customers in the greater Los Angeles basin throughout California, as well as all points in the U.S. and Canada. Josh Eddins, Terminal Manager and longtime Kool Pak employee, oversees all operations at the expanded facility.
“In alignment with our number one goal of protecting customers’ products throughout the cold chain, we are committed to investing in our five temperature-controlled facilities, equipment and people” notes President and CEO Steve Ness. We also have temperature-controlled warehouses in British Columbia, Oregon, Washington and northern California for careful handling of all types of frozen, chilled and dry products. Every location offer extensive – and increasing – cooler and freezer capacity to handle any size load, no matter what the temperature, carefully managed at the correct temperature. Our Polar Express Transportation division plans to expand freezer capacity in the coming months at our Langley, BC facility to increase capacity for market growth throughout Canada.
